Is the Egypt eVisa valid for Sinai and the Red Sea?+
Yes. The standard Egypt tourist eVisa covers the entire country including Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, the Sinai Peninsula (Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab), and the Red Sea coast (Hurghada, Marsa Alam). Note: the Sinai Only entry stamp (available on arrival at Sharm airport) is cheaper but restricted to the Sinai peninsula.
What are the best archaeological sites in Egypt?+
The pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are the most iconic, but Luxor is Egypt's greatest open-air archaeological museum: the Valley of the Kings (Tutankhamun's tomb), Karnak Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Aswan offers the Abu Simbel temples (UNESCO) and the beautiful Philae Temple on the Nile.
Do I need vaccinations for Egypt?+
No mandatory vaccinations are required for Egypt. Hepatitis A and typhoid are recommended for food safety. If you plan to visit sub-Saharan African countries before or after Egypt, yellow fever vaccination may be required. Always consult a travel health clinic before your trip.
